Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a third-year student studying in BE Electronics at the university. I am writing this letter to inform about the factors
that deter the quality of the canteen and to humbly suggest some ideas to improve the same.
The best part about the cafeteria is that it is located amidst the university campus garden surrounded by trees and herbs. The atmosphere is so refreshing that we can get fresh air at any time and that makes it the best place for relaxation.
In addition to that Tiffin and meals served have always been outstanding in terms of quality and taste.
Being a regular visitor to college canteen, I found some off-putting factors in it that need immediate attention of the management. Firstly, Dairy products offered by the existing contractor tastes awful at times and are poor in content and quality. Furthermore, furniture placed at the eating area is rather old, especially some of the wooden chairs are half broken and most of them are quite shaky.
Since cafeteria plays an integral part of student life, I would like to give some suggestions to fix them. With regards to the issue with milk products, I would kindly recommend that a quality check shall be undertaken to analyze the issue and this will persuade the contractor to supply quality food. Also, management perhaps could exchange old furniture for the latest ones that are available in the market. I personally know some of the furniture makers who offer huge volume discounts when purchased in bulk.
I hope my query and suggestions will be published in the university magazine to seek management attention.
