I am writing to inform you that I am unable to continue volunteering at your organization, Seattle Local Soup Kitchen, from next Monday. My responsibilities included serving soup and clearing the tables every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Since my final exams and project submission deadlines are approaching, I will not be able to participate in the volunteer work. Even though I immensely enjoy the job, I need to spend more time studying for the examination. After I complete my semester, I would love to return. Meanwhile, I can recommend my friend as my replacement.
My friend Lily also enjoys volunteering, and she has worked in a soup kitchen before. I assure you she will be able to fulfill all the responsibilities without any problems or hesitation.
