You have decided to leave your current employment. Write a letter to your employer. Include the following in your letter:
– Explain why you are writing
– Explain why you have decided to leave the company
– Tell your employer what you plan to do after leaving your present employment
Dear Mr Fred,
I am writing to let you know that i am resigning from the company. I have been working with ABC Medical Centre as a resident physician for the past ten years and i believe it is time for me to move to another phase of my life. I hereby tender my resignation letter.
I plan on travelling around the world. When i got married last year, i informed my wife, who is a nurse that we would explore the world. So we decided it is best to embark on the journey before we start having our own children, because it will be tedious to go on global exploration with them.
We will be travelling across the globe, which would take approximately eleven months. We plan on staying in Africa, Senegal to be more precise, for about two months, where we will join other voluntary workers in taking care of the sick people. After that, my wife will return to the country while i will go on a self discovery journey to Jerusalem for a week.
Thank you for being a wonderful boss.
Yours sincerely,
Ben Ray.
