You have a full-time job and are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your tutor. In your letter

– describe the situation
– explain why you cannot continue at this time
– say what action you would like to take

You should write at least 150 words.

Dear Sir,

I would like to inform you that I won't be able to continue my evening course on "Artificial Intelligence" from next week onward i.e. from coming Monday, as my office timing will change.

Recently, I have selected for an US project, and because of time difference I have to work from 3 p.m. in the afternoon till 12 o'clock mid night. I have also discussed with the administrator of your institute to change my class timing to morning session. But, morning classes are already overcrowded, and he has denied to enroll me in the morning session.

As only three week classes are left to complete the course, I have decided to study on my own from home. I would be happy if you provide me the remaining classes handouts. Moreover, can I call you if I have any doubt to clarify?

Hope, you have understood my situation, and expecting support from your end. Thanks in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,
Bibhu Kalita
