You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.
Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter
correct the information in the article
explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter with regards to the article on Singapore published in this month's issue. According to the article, Singapore purifies the water drained from toilets and uses it for drinking. However, this is absolutely incorrect and preposterous that such an acclaimed magazine as yours could make such a grave mistake. The drainage water that is purified is not consumed, but used to water the plants on the streets.

Let me explain in detail. To begin with Singapore imports drinking water from Malaysia. In addition, there are some desalination plants installed along the coast. However, this water is not fit for consumption and can be used to carry out non portable activities. Next your magazine is widely read by people around the world. Moreover, many rely on your articles to gain knowledge about a place and also use them as a guide while making travel plans. Therefore, publishing untrue information may misguide the people and portray Singapore in a bad light.

In order to rectify the error, I would be grateful if you could recheck your facts, research more and publish the same in the next month's issue. Please feel free to reach out to me via amandaroberts@gmail.com or 98765432 if you need more information.

Looking forward to your reply.

Yours faithfully,
Amanda Roberts
