You have received a record that needs to be translated. Write a letter to a translating agency and say
– What is there on the record?
– Why do you want to translate it?
– Why is it so urgent for you to get it translated
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am sending this letter along with a record that needs to be translated on an urgent basis. These are my medical records from Carlson medical center, New Delhi, India. Apparently, I am applying for a Chinese medical visa for my surgery scheduled next month in Shanghai medical center. I can have my surgery in half the price that I have been quoted in India.
First of all, the Chinese embassy requires the medical record translated to Mandarin, their native tongue, to get the visa stamping process to start. The visa procedure may take one to two weeks to complete, and I will be running out of time soon.
Secondly, I can then send this translated medical record to my agent in Shanghai and get looked up by professionals before my arrival. The translated record will help my appointed Chinese doctors to understand the situation if they have any language barrier.
I would appreciate if you could return my translated record by end of this week. That will give me just enough time to arrange everything.
Yours faithfully,
Stanley John
