Dear Tina,

Hope this letter finds you in good health. I finally put pen to paper and glad that we had an opportunity to spend some quality time with each other.

I had not had such a wonderful time in a long time. After college, work, marriage, and children kept me busy. Now that the children are off to college and on their own, I get some me time. Although, I miss my children it is such a welcome break to no worry about rushing through your morning chores, packing lunch, seeing them off to school, helping them with their home works and assignments. It was a much deserved break in my life. What better way to spend a few days with your best friend. It still cracks me up that we went pub hopping like teenagers and the crazy things that we did on the streets. And, what an amazing host you are, I still crave for the apple pie that you made.

Bangalore is a paradise for shopaholics, I am sure we can spend all day shopping at commercial street, munching on some sweet corn, and enjoy the ice cream at corner house. Now that my children are off on a summer camp and husband is on a business trip, I would be delighted to have you as a guest at my home for a few days. It would be great opportunity for us to relive our good old college days.

Looking forward to your visit. Cheers to all our fun-times.

Love,
Rajie
