Dear Mike,

I’m sorry. I couldn’t write to you for a long time, but now I got the pen to share a happy news with you. I got a new job offer, and now I have been working there for about a week. I had to prepare for these interviews, and that’s why I was so busy in the last couple of weeks.

As you know, I had been working at a local company before joined with this, and there I couldn’t get much exposure since there were limited opportunities. Also, I thought that it would be better to adhere to the English speaking office culture since I have a migration plan.

You might be heard about this ABC since it an international company, and there are many branches around the world. I joined with them as a Senior Software Engineer, and part of my team members are working in the USA. So, I might have to work at night to join some meetings two-three times for a week. However, working hours are flexible.

I have a lot of things to share with you. I will write to you when I get free time again. By the way, I am going to sit for the IELTS exam in the coming month and get back to you with the results. I shall stop now.

Regards,
VK
