You recently attended a conference and you would like to give a presentation about the information you gained by attending the conference.
Write a letter to your manager asking for permission to give a presentation. In your letter:
describe what type of presentation you have in mind
what topics it would cover and how long it would take
who should participate in the presentation and where should it be conducted
Dear Sir
I am writing this letter to request your approval for conducting a presentation to share my learnings, gained in the latest Mobile Developers Conference held in the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Please allow me to elaborate.
In order to have the presentation engaging and interactive, I have planned for a shorter powerpoint presentation with a few slides, combined with a practical workshop session. This can aid the participants to easily grasp and understand the topics that I would cover.
Since secure development and security of mobile applications is on top of everyone's mind, I have planned to interact and share more on those topics. Although a lot of online materials are available online on mobile security, the ideas that I have learnt are quite simple and unique. It will not take more than an hour as a longer duration can hinder the participants' engagement.
If all the mobile developers, in addition to security testing engineers, of our site can attend this session, It will prove beneficial for our concern in the long run. As we have state-of-the-art projectors and equipment inside our office conference room, the session can be organized there itself.
Hoping for a favourable response from your side regarding this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Anand
