You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
• Say why he/she would not enjoy going to college.
• Explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her.
• Suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Dear Habeeb,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I understand that you want my opinion regarding pursuing college or carrier. After due consideration, I feel that you should get a job that you would feel comfortable in.
Since you have completed M.B.A specializing in HR, any other program that you take up would not complement it. Moreover, you are a practical and systematic person who can work comfortably with any person.
Feather more, there are many companies that are recruiting people with your specialization from your college, I would urge you to apply to a few companies. This is the perfect example of the expression that “practice makes the man perfect”. Not only will this experience will help reduce your fear of interview but also help you crack your dream job.
Finally, an organization will help you gain experiences which you would carryon for rest of your life. I hope you would consider my views while taking your deciding. Thank you for asking my suggestions.
Yours Friendly,
Dwarakesh Suresh
