During this disastrous financial struggle that your family is going through I would only suggest you to add every single penny possible. However, I know it will only be a drop in the ocean, but trust me your family needs it. Moreover, you have excellent credentials to land you a decent job.
Furthermore, I feel that with your outgoing personality and your hobby of traveling would make you a perfect candidate for a career in airline industry. I encourage you to apply for the same. I am sure in longer run you will you appreciate my advice.
