You work in a busy but poorly organised office and you are keen to be promoted. Your employer needs to find a new supervisor for your department.
Write a letter to your employer. In the letter
• ask to be considered for this job
• explain why you would be a suitable candidate
• outline the current problems and the changes you would like to make

Dear Sir,
I am writing to draw your attention towards the irregular bus service in my area, which has become an everyday concern for the people availing the facility.

I daily commuted to work using bus number 6 and that was the best option for me till now due to its exact arrival time. However, I have observed that since last 15 days the bus do not arrive at its time and the I have to wait long. Surprisingly, last Friday bus was not seen even after waiting for 30 minutes and eventually I had to choose other mode of transport to reach the office. Indeed, this has become a big headache for me as I am getting late to office often. The bus is very irregular these days and I had to stop using this facility. Consequently, I have to now rely on private transport, which is unequivocally very expensive. In this case; despite the public transport, I am refrain from its benefit. I am sure this would have created many problems for other people as well.

I would ask you to take proper action by training the staff such that bus schedule is not disturbed and the citizens can use the bus facility adequately. I expect that you would do needful at the earliest.

Yours faithfully,
XYZ
