You work for an international company and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.Write a letter to your manager. In your letter • explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months. •

Dear Alan,

I am writing this letter to express my interest to work in our head office situated in Singapore for a limited period.

As you know I am the only resource that our company has in India, it becomes difficult for me to co-ordinate with other counterparts who work there in our HO. I have sensed there is always huge communication gap between each of team-mates when they want to convey anything to me. It will be beneficial not only for me but also for our establishment if I get a chance to work with other onsite colleagues for six months. This will help me by enhancing my ability to communicate with other members of team seamlessly and effectively which will certainly improve our productivity.

Since I am going to work from our abroad office, I do not think that there will be any issue with our regular business. The only alteration that is going to happen is my place of deputation, which has merely some relation with my work flows. Furthermore, I can assure that I will put my additional efforts to buckle up abilities so that no work during our work hours can get hampered.

I would request you to consider my sincere request and change my place of deputation. I also know you are the key person in our company whose words are always valued. Therefore, if you could put through your words in front of management my deputation will surely be changed.

Looking forward with you support

Yours sincerely,
Prajwal
