You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
describe the training course
explain what the company could do to help you
say how the course will be useful for your job

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you about a training course I am going to participate in.

The course is about implants and how to administer them. The lecturers are from top periodontologists and most experienced ones in implantology. It has been planned to talk about different kinds of implants in several speeches, and live implant’s surgery will be done, as well.

I was wondering if it is possible for the company to help me to take part in this course. Firstly, although I have already called several hotels in the city which course takes place in, it is so helpful for me that the company arranges the accommodation since I have already spend a pile load of money on registration for the course and buying the tickets. Secondly, it would be such a relief to me if the manager talks to the clinic’s team and asks them to take care of my patients while I am gone.

As you already know, it has been some months since our implantologist separated from the clinic, and the patients in need of an implant were referred to other clinics. I assume, after this course, not only can I take care of this kind of patients, but I can consult the colleagues with the treatment plans with their current patients whether to extract the teeth or not.

I look forward to hear from you soon.

Yours Faithfully,
Dr. Aidin Farughi
