Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.

Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:

• Say why you would like to go on the trip

• Suggest what you could do to help during the trip

• Ask other questions about the trip

Dear Ma'am,

I am writing this letter in order to show my willingness to accompany children on a three day trip to France. My work nature demands me to travel a lot so I don’t get enough time with my daughter. Therefore I thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some quality time with her. Moreover, since I have been to France couple of times, so I may help in many ways.

Firstly, as you know that language compatibility is a real issue in France, so we need someone who could fluently communicate in local language. Since I have been there couple of times, I can speak French very fluently. Secondly, since it is a three day short trip, I could help in short listing main attractions and heritage sites which can be explored in three days. Furthermore, I can take care of all the travel arrangements as I know a local tour and travel company which can give us group discount.

I would like to know the dates on which this trip is being planned as I need to apply for leaves and also whether the accommodation would be provided from school or I have to book my accommodation.

I hope you consider me for this school trip. I am looking forward to it.

Yours Sincerely

JPS
