I am writing to you because my English teacher has given me your contact details regarding the penfriend advertisement.
My name is Carlos Becerra, I'm 31 years old, I live in Santiago. I have been working for a sports magazine over the last two years. Despite my profession as a chemical engineer, sports have always been my real passion. So, after five years of working for an oil company, I decided to follow my dreams and become a sports writer. I wasn't sure of making the right call at the time.
I enjoy playing sports in my free time. I love playing football once or twice a week, also, I play squash at least once a month. But, nevertheless, go cycling is what I enjoy the most. I think is the most beautiful sport in the world. Watching the tour of France's final stage at champs Elysee is one of my biggest dreams I hope one day I will be able to fulfill it.
Enough about me. I would like to hear from you. Where you from, what you like to do in your free time. Any interesting hobbies I should know?. Anyway, I am really looking forward to your reply.
