Dear Mr. David,
I am writing this letter to let you know my view regarding the changes that shook our company, Meghna Group of Industries, over the last year. As being part of the IT department, I perceived it heavily because IT-based solution has driven the changes. Last year, we changed the whole hardware system in our infrastructure and also, implemented an automation system for all the manual task. This automation ranges from the production system to retail sales of finished goods. I was a proud team member of the whole automation project.
It was a lifetime experience for me, and as it was one mega project I learned about my lacking in knowledge. I could have done better If I had prior knowledge of automation. I felt it is mandatory to have proper training before starting this type of project.
As the whole project is live now, we are facing immense pressure in troubleshooting issues we encounter every day. I feel, still, we lack the domain knowledge to run the operation. I think training on automation is mandatory for the operation team, and it should be on the training calendar of the next year.
I hope my viewpoints will be analyzed carefully, and my proposal will be assessed properly.
