Some people argue that technological inventions, such as mobile phones, are making people socially less interactive. Do you agree or disagree?
Some people think that new technological discoveries like smart phones are changing people into socially less interactive. I absolutely agree with this statement and in following paragraphs I will scrutinize reasons and write in details.
To begin with, mobile phones have made communication faster and cheaper, thus one can easily reach their dear ones who are living in any part on the earth. It is also possible to say , as mobiles are becoming more smarter , people can share their special memories through social networks. For instance, nowadays people can share their personal messages, photos, documents on Facebook and WhatsApp easily by using smartphones.
On the other hand, mobiles have adverse affects too on the society. Children have become less active and contain themselves within the walls and play mobile games, consequently, they have fewer friends. Adults too have become socially inactive as they are well occupied in chat with their buddies on social network sites. Earlier people used to go out at nights within their neighbors and made conversations about different topics. Regardless, we cannot witness this kind of scenes too much today. Parents are too busy with their mobiles that they often forget to spend valuable time with their children thus, children feel isolated which affects their moralty, too.
To sum up, while invention of smart phones provided more comfort to the society, it has broadened the social gap between people and given reason to the feeling of isolation among people, especially among kids.
