Studying with a group of scholar in a classroom is more beneficial than learning online at home.

There are conflicting views among people whether studying with peers in the lecture room is advantageous or acquiring online is better. This essay will highlight both viewpoints and explain why I believe that group study is far beneficial, but since the COVID-19 pandemic has emerged online study is greatly helping the students.

To start with, there are several positives of doing group study in the tutorial room. The first reason to supports this notion is that students will have chances to do face to face interaction with classmates, as well as they, have to obey the classroom's decorum that will certainly make them more disciplined. Whereas, in online class students may be involved in different works at the same time which can distract them from their study. Secondly, in a lecture hall, students get to follow versatile learning methods. Whenever they face any difficulty in a particular subject, they can take help from other students to clear the doubt. Lastly, a physical presence in the classroom provides numerous opportunities to develop their social skills as well as coordination with peers. For example, if a student attends only online classes from his or her home they may not be mixed up with their classmates, consequently, they will become less social and introverts which are not good for their career perspectives.

On the other hand, an online class can be useful in some aspects such as students will not have to travel some considerable distance to attend lectures. While it will reduce their daily travelling expenses which they pay for transports service. Furthermore, the bad weather condition will not affect their schedules. In case if there is heavy rain pupil can take advantage of online sessions while being at their home. For example, last summer several students went back to their hometowns just before the lockdown was imposed, but the zoom video calling app allowed them to attend all subjects classes online. Moreover, the significant advantage of an online class is that the children will be under parent's observation whether they are focusing on their study or not.

In conclusion, although group study in the classroom is indispensable in student learning yet online classes playing a significant role during this second lockdown.
