Essay topics:

Is it better to use a tour guide in your trip or do it by yourself

Many people think they can enjoy their
journeys to new places by themselves, not using a tour
guide. They say that tour guides restrict their freedom. Although I
understand their point of view, I have a different opinion.
I believe that a tour guide is very important because
he/she can helps us make the best of the trip's
time, and can helps us visit places we don’t even
know.First, tour guides are a
professional
people, who can help us a lot during our trips so we can
make the best use of it. They know how long it
takes to go from one point to another, they know how long it
takes to visit a certain places, they know which is near to
which and which is far, they know if the weather is
appropriate to visit that place or not, and what can replace
that place if not. Really they have answers almost to
all our questions. I can remember when my sister in law and
her husband were planning a trip to a foreign country; they
used a travelling agency to recommend them a tour
guide. When they arrived their destination they
founded him waiting for them, and all the
reservation they would need were done. He organized a very
elegant week for them. They enjoyed every single moment.
Before they finished visiting one site, he was ready with
what the next step was. When they came back, they said that
they would never enjoy their trip or visit different places
as much as they did, if they were by themselves not
with that tour guide.Next, due to their work nature tour
guides are always up to date with any touristic discovery,
or with any new valuable places that really deserve
visiting. When I recall my memories about my honeymoon, I
regret that we didn't hire a tour guide to help us, we
were depending on recommendation from friends and family
members. We reserved a room in a romantic resort, although
we enjoyed the resort, but after few days, we got bored,
there was not a lot to do. We tried to ask about any
activity to do or touristic places we can visit. We
didn't get a lot of information to help us. When we went
back home, accidentally, we met with a tour guide, who told
us that we missed many sights we could see and visit in that
city. Now, if I was to redo my honeymoon again or if am
going to plan any future trip, for sure, I'll ask for a
tour guide’s help.In conclusion, for the reasons
mentioned above, I encourage every person who is planning to travel, to hire a tour
guide. Why not you ask for a tour guide’s help for your next trip? If you did
so, you will discover for yourself how this man/lady will be
a real gift from the heaven to your trip.
