Adult interference.

Essay topics:

Adult interference.

Both the passage and the lecture are regarding adult interference, and whether it has positive or negative impact on children. Although the author accentuates that if parents interfere to plays of children, it will suppress children from developing pivotal skills, the lecturer utterly contradicts this viewpoint for three core arguments.
Firstly, the author posits that interrupting plays of kids might damage their creativity since it will render kids not to utilize and enhance their imagination, not to mention creativity. On the other hand, the lecturer refutes this claim by mentioning that sometimes children are prone to be involved in futile activities such as eating junk food, and sometimes they get in trouble, so parents have to encourage children to play stimulating games or toys, which will eventually, foster their creativity.
Secondly, from the perspective of the author, children have to develop peer role models, and thus, if adults disable them from doing so, it will prevent children from improving their social skills. However, the lecturer opposes this idea for children have to learn proper role models from their parents not from their peers, otherwise it will engender inappropriate disposition.
Thirdly, the author asserts that youngsters have to know how to protect themselves, and they have to solve the problems they encounter without the help of their parents. That being said, the lecturer rebuts this statement because youngsters don't know the consequences of their actions, and they have to trust their parents.
