animal fossils usually provide little opportunity to study the actual fossil tissues

Scientists are excited for finding a 70-million-year-old fossil of a genre of dinosaur called T.rex which may contain the remains of the actual tissues of the animal. The reading provides us with three identifications to demonstrate the state. However, the professor in the lecture points out that all the three identifications are skeptical in the reading.
First off, the passage says that the leg bone of the fossil contains many branching channels which may be the hollows where blood vessels were once placed. But the professor casts doubt about this. She says that the the channels may not necessarily be the hollows, it may be something else. Since the research was happened long after the dinosaur has dead, there may be many bacteria inside the bone. So the channels may be some organic materials residues which were made by the bacteria.
Furthermore, the article supports that the leg bone of the fossil may contain the red blood cells because some spheres are found in the inner bone. Again, the professor do not agree this, she refutes that some identical vessels were found in the other fossils in the same place, and such vessels have been proved that they did not have any red blood cells. So the T.rex's fossil cannot be the remains of the red blood cells, too. And the professor argues that they may be the remains of the pieces of minerals.
Last but not least, the article claims that collagen may be contained in the leg bone. However, the professor disagrees this. She says that the collagen can only last 100 thousand years. They can not last long years. But the bone has over 700 millions years old, which is contracted to they truth. Consequently, the professor points out that the collagen does not come from T.rex. And it may much more like come from some recent resources, such as humans.
In a nutshell, from what has been discussed above, the professor thinks what has been stated in the reading are skeptical.
