The reading and the lecture are both about autonomous cars.

Whereas the author of the reading states that driverless will provide benefits for our life, the lecturer suggests that they have some problems.

The lecturer casts doubts on the main points made by in the article by providing three reasons.

First of all, according to the reading, there a lot of car accidents are caused by drivers, and such inventions will prevent from these. However, the lecturer disputes this point. He says that there are a lot of inventions has done by people that have some errors, and driverless also will have.

Seconds, the reading states that driverless cars can communicate with one another which will decline the level of pollutions. Nevertheless, the lecturer refutes this point . He says that by providing such chance people will not need license, and will try spend time under road that promote to raise the level of pollutions.

Finally, the reading claims that passenger in the car instead of concentrating on the road they could another useful things. On the other hand, the lecturer believe that When people have extra time they usually do unimportant things such as watching videos, so that there is no distinguish if the driverless provide them time.

In conclusion, although the reading and the lecture are both about autonomous cars, the three main reasons made in the article are effectively challenged by the professor
