Albiet, the lecturer had strick contrast with reading passage by denying the prediction with following three statement.
First of all, reading passage hold an idea that it may be used as an apartment for hundred of people linked to the evidence that there were same sturctured apartment at Taos where many peole lived for many centuries. On the contrary, lecturer believes that even the outside looks same as apartment, the inside of Chaco is not suitable for living. Secondly, the second theory passage hold is that it may be used as food container for long periods because of the of suitable sizes. And again, the idea contrasted with lecturer that evidence showed less container which loosen the prediction that it was used as food container.
Lastly, excavation evidence revealed that there were large number of broken pods leading to prediction that it was used in cermonial activity because such cermony is familier in native Americans. Hovewer, lecturer provide an explantion that it was not used as that way because excavation evidence was not only broken vase or pots, despite the pods, there were sand, aggregate, construction and building materials.
