The reading text and lecture are about the problem related with the online encyclopedias in relation to traditional printed encyclopedias. The reading teat is claiming that online encyclopedia is a not a reliable source. in contrast the lecturer is proving this wrong by making counter claiming.
Firstly, The reading text believe that, anyone with low academic credential and with the lack of proper knowledge can edit the information on online encyclopedias because it is open to all the people to do change. However, The lecturer is argues that, it is not that easy to do correction on encyclopedias. because this is safe from this type of people and online encyclopedias are the only platform, from where you can get the factual information.
Secondly, Reading passage claim that, Information present over the online encyclopedias are susceptible to the hacking and can easily fabricated or delete by the hacker. on the other hand, speaker stance that, all the online encyclopedias are protected from the hacker. Moreover, he speak that, authority of this encyclopedias had employed an only reading mode in some of the confidential information and also editors are having watch on all these changes and they approved the changes in case of that are right.
In the end, writer claim that, online encyclopedias is mostly focus on the more popular topic and providing lots of information about it. In addition to that , he claim that this will that child can not distinguish the information on online encyclopedias. In contrast, the lecturer stat that online encyclopedias is vast form of information in compere to the tradition printed encyclopedias. online encyclopedias is showing the great diversity of knowledge.
