There are constant values in your lives, and one of them is celebrating holidays in a conventional way. For me, it means spending time with my relatives and to share my nation's features. Personally, I believe that it is more significant to do so nowadays than it was just a century ago. I feel this way for several reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, in the modern 21st century we are so overwhelmed with work and information that we definitely need some breaks to restore energy and free your brains. And holidays provide us with this possibility. And the best way to do so is to spend time as you did it when you were young - with your kin. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. We have a very cohesive relationship among relatives and try to support each other in any case. Unfortunately, we can gather whole family members only during public holidays. Thus, this time is so precious for us that we will not substitute it with any modern amusements.
Secondly, our traditions are part of your culture, and it is very important to follow them, including the celebration of holidays in the way your fathers and grandfathers did. It allows us to feel the connection between generations, and, moreover, feel the greatness of our nation. Taking into account the globalization processes, I think that it is very important for today to be bonded to our traditional values.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the traditional approach for celebrating holidays is still crucial for your society. This is because it allows us to feel close to our families, and helps us to recognize that we are people of one nation.
