It is more important to keep your old friends than it is to make new friends.
maybe for some people, it's a challenging situation to decide are they need new relationships? or just the old friends are enough for their life. but for me, it's completely clear. I always tend to keep my old friends. I feel this way because of two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
After age 23, people prefer to be in safe relationships, so mine either. I prefer my old friendships because I spent enough time getting to know them and now I am familiar with their behavior and the way they see life, and also they know me. so because of that, they will totally understand me and they will not get upset or angry when I treat them in my special way because they know my personality and they can recognize easily that am I joking or am I serious at that certain time. I'm not worried about if do something she will be mad at me. I believe when we found our besties we will be happy for the rest of our lives. because we found the person who is similiar to us and we can enjoy every moment we spend together.
Secondly, in old friendships we are comfortable and we are not afraid of talking honestly, because I know if I'm talking about my issue and tell them my whole story, nobody judges me or make fun of me, and also they will not use my words for hurting me in future. they are the most trustworthy person in my life. besides that, I know they listen to me and they will be available for me every time I'm getting into trouble, they will help me and trying to figure out what we can do to solve the problem. they will be there for me and I'm not alone.
For example, when I was fighting with my cancer disease my friends didn't leave me alone. they care about me and help me to keep going and never give up. they try to make the sickness easy for me by being with me in the hospital and helping me to find medicines. At those time they adapt my dog and bring her to their home and feed her just because I was in a bad situation and the only thing that they really care about was my piece. This example demonstrates how valuable keep old friends can be.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that we must keep our old friends because they truly love us just the way who we are not for benefits.
