Private collectors have been selling and buying fossils the petrified remains of ancient organisms ever since the eighteenth century In recent years however the sale of fossils particularly of dinosaurs and other large vertebrates has grown into a big bus

The passage maintains that the selling of the rare as well as important fossils to private ownership cause various types of chaotic situation because it may harm various scientist as well as public. However, the lecturer is highly contentious with the ideas presented by the reading and lecturer posits that the importance of selling the various rare as well as important fossils to the private outweigh the importance than not selling it.

First of all, the reading passage asserts that rather than selling the various important fossils to private company if it is handed over to the various museum public can have easy access to see various types of historical fossils .As a result, the importance of the fossils can be maintained. However, the lecturer contends that instead of handing over the museum if sold to private company it is certain that there would be greater exposure .Indeed the fossils is available for sale at cheaper price which the schools and college can easily buy at minimal amount. In addition the people can have easy access. Evidently, this difference presented in the paragraph concludes that lecturer and author are not in agreement with each other regarding the exposure of fossils.

Secondly, the author believes that because of the trend of selling the fossils to private company various scientist that been studying the fossils meticulously may lose access to important fossils. As a result which may halt the discovery of the various types of extinct form. In addition, author also argues that the scientist cannot buy the fossils from the various fossils buyers at an exorbitant prices .On the contrary, the lecturer argues the idea presented by author regarding this subject matters . The lecturer maintains that the before selling the fossils to various buyers it must have been identified by the various scientist .Moreover, the scientist must have done the fossil test also before selling the fossils to the buyers. As a result of this scientist may not have lose important matters and information regarding the fossils. Consequently, this idea regarding the losing the private information of fossils are not in agreement with the idea presented by both author as well as lecturer.

Finally, author confess that it is because of the commercial fossils collector many information associated with the fossils are found to be destroyed. They found this type of job pretty cumbersome as well. As a result the documentation process seems to be irrelevant. On the other hand, the lecturer posits that it is because of the commercial fossils collector we are able to unearth the various undiscovered fossils .Indeed , we should not undermine the works of the various commercial fossils collector .Their deeds and contribution should be underlined and exalted.

In a Nutshell, Lecturer contends that selling the fossils is better idea however the author seems to be unwarranted with this idea. Both Lecturer as well as Author holds the conflicting views with this context .It is clear that they will have trouble finding common ground on this issue.
