reasons about an asteroid could be the best colonization option

The reading article and the lecture both about asteroids. which is a large space object made up of rock and the ice. The author of the reading believes that colonization on the asteroids is the best options and provide three reasons to support. The lecture cast doubt on the clime made in the article. He thinks that it is not possible practically and he refutes each of the author's opinions.
First of all, the author points out that Since the asteroids are the smaller plant then the moon, it has a less gravitational force. It is mentioned that the less gravitational force is a safer place to land spaceship because it is not pulled forcefully. This point is challenged by the lecturer. he says that although the landing and take off is easy, overall it is a risk for the colonist. Furthermore, he argues that the less gravity reduces the muscle mass and the bone density and it also creates health issues for the people.
Second, The author contended that it is the best place for mining. The article notes that mining the valuable metals limited on the earth is a profitable business. The professor rebuts this argument. He suggested that it seems profitable but not as a whole. He elaborates on this by mentioning that they need to spend money on transportation as well as cost to support mining. On top of that, once the supply increase the demand went down and end up with the loss.
Finally, the author states that it is easy to reach asteroid compared to the moon because it is a close orbit to the earth. The lecture, on the other hand, posits that even though it is easy to reach, it is hard to return. He put forth the idea that the earth orbit is not stable while returning it move away from the asteroid.
