summarize the points made in the lecture about possibility of living in Venus planet, being sure to explain how they oppose specific points made in the reading about human life in Venus.

The reading discusses about the possibility of living in another planet like Venus. It states the difficuties which can prevent humans from making that planet a habitable place for themselves. However, the professor, in the lecture, disagrees with this point of view and she refutes each of the problems mentioned in the reading for showing the harsh condition of Venus, since she thinks that living can be feasable in a station well above the Venus planet.

First, the article states that the atmospheric pressure of this planet is 90 times more than earth. So, it would be logically impossible for humans to live there. But, professor believes that if humans can build a station 50 kilometers above the surface area of planet, it would be possible for them to live there. She reminds that this is true, since at this height the pressure would be similar with the amount that we experience in earth atmosphere normally.

Second, the passage regards that the Venus planet's surface does not contain any water reservoirs and most of its atmospheric environment composition is made of harmful gases like Nitrogen, Carbon dioxide and Sulfuric acid. In contrary, professor relatively opposes with this view and indicates that this problem can be solved easily, because the station can convert these unfriendly chemicals into water and oxygen which are crucial for humans’ survival.

Third, the reading mentions that so much little sun light can get to the planet's surface due to thick dark clouds around the Venus. On the other hand, she thinks that these clouds are not as thick as it considered. Also, the station solar systems have the capability to absorb and convert all of these lights that reflected in various directions into energy for humans in the station efficiently.
