In the lecture professor provides the conclusion of the panels of expert for the controversial painting of the famous artist Rembrandt. According to points presented, the painting indeed belongs to Rembrandt.
The x-ray analysis of the painting suggests that the painting is re-developed or modified by using colors. Result suggests that the painting is re-colored after 100 years of the it's publication. This is the main reason behind the possible inconsistency mentioned in the passage.
The painting was modified to increase it's value. In this process, the fur collar of the woman in the "Portrait of an Elderly Woman in a White Bonnet" is converted into grand appearance to make it valuable. If we remove the color, the realistic appearance of the woman and the lights effects can be found. This tally with the style and representation of the Rembrandt.
Apart from these, there is no partial shadow of the face in the painting if the original piece of work is concerned.
