TOEFL TPO 28- Integrated Writing Task

The passage discusses Peary's adventure to reach the North Pole. The passage confirms he reached the North Pole and provides three reasons to support that. However, the professir rejects each of the author's reason by three reasons and states that the reading's reasons are inconvincing.
First, the passage claims that the National Geographic Society has verified the accuracy ofthe Peary's journey to reach the North Pole. In contrast, the talk rebuts this point by stating that most of the members of National Geographic Society were the Peary's friend, and there is a chance they confirmed this point by getting money.
Second, the article explains that Peary reached to the North in only 37 days and it is not unbelievable. After that, passage explains that another explorer by using a similar vehicle made the journey possible in less than 37 days. So, the Peary's claim about reaching to the North Pole is believable. However, the lecture rejects this idea by describing thatthe weather condition in Averuy's journey was great and suitable, while the weather condition in Peary's journey was catastrophic. Also, the teacher says Avery started the journey just by his own without any loggage. In contrast, Peary had a lot of food that made him slow. As you can see, the text's reason is not reasonable.
Third, the reading explains the photograhs taken by Peary are a solid document for veryfying his journey. Also, by measuring the shadow in the photo they can find the exact position. The professor rejects this point by describing that the camera was very old and the photos were very fussy. Consequently, the photos are very fade because they belonged to hundred years a go and these documents are not convincing.
