The reader claims the declining in the culture Knowledge due to the less reader interested in reading a novel book and provides reasons for supporting. On the other hand, the professor counters these specific points and presents clues to call into the information in the passage, He refuses each of the author’s reasons.

First, the reader addresses the dropping in the reading book results in the decreasing the intellectual thinking between the public. While the speaker counters this point by telling that the people do not need to read the novel books to become intelligent and push the society forward, also, a lot of books such as science or historical are beneficial, and people enjoy reading and enhance their thinking abilities.

Second, the reader asserts the corresponding retrograding in acquiring learning from the books because of other things make the person more attractive to them like T.V and a Web page. The professor casts dough on this by explaining that there are a lot of materials are not written but essential such as music or movies, besides, they are interesting. And that does not mean the people are lowering their society because they do not read enough of the novel books. Conversely, the people are more productive because these entertainments direct the people to contemporary concerns than the literature do.

Third, the reader disputes the declining in the amount of the literature that published today. The professor says it is an exaggeration to blame on the people the dropping in the books but the novel are so hard now to understand them and there are not many reasons to support that the reader far less reading than the earliest generations did.
