He suggests that people have little knowledge and can catch native frogs instead of cane toads because they look very similar and it is hard to the untrained eye to see the difference.
Finally, the author states that a virus could be developed to stop the cane toad population from spreading. The lecturer, on the other hand, posits that this virus will cause danger to the cane toads in Central and North America, where they are considered as native animals and play important role in the ecosystem.
