The professor explains three arguments opposing the points stated in the reading passage about the serious problems and limitations of performing archaeology activities in the United Kingdom. She asserts that governments set new guidelines in 1990 which facilitate archaeology studies and projects.

First, the professor argues that construction companies have been obliged to examine construction sites based on archaeological interests before start of any project. This brings an opportunity to archaeologists to be available in every construction site and start to excavate, investigate and analyze the site in order to gain valuable artifacts. Therefore, although the reading passage states that many precious artifacts were destroyed in construction projects, this guidelines let archaeologists to be assure about maintaining many of artifacts.

Second, it the reading passage, financial issues have been introduced as one of crucial archaeologists problem in conduction of researches. On the contrary, the professor draws attention to the fact that research costs will be paid by construction companies. This rule can offer an appropriate solution to archaeologists in which they can perform expensive and costly research projects by external sources of money.

Third and last, the reading passage asserts that few job positions are available in archaeology and people consider it as an unpaid amateur and temporary job. In contrast, the professor disproves the idea due to the fact that a lot of paid job positions are exist for archaeologists after guideline has been set. Now, archaeologists should actively participate in construction projects, examine sites, gather and analyze data, write reports and articles and make preserve plans for archaeological interesting places.
