TPO-16 - Integrated Writing Task The United Kingdom (sometimes referred to as Britain) has a long and rich history of human settlement. Traces of buildings, tools, and art can be found from periods going back many thousands of years: from the Stone Age, t

The article states that the United Kingdom was faced with severe problems and limitations with the science of archaeology and cultural artifacts, and provides three reasons. However, the professor says that three rules and guidelines have improved Britain.

First of all, the writer claims that a lot of beneficial artifacts were demolished due to construction work. However, the speaker says that new guideline states that examination is necessary before starting any construction projects. She explains that if there are archaeological value and interest available, then the builder and local government needs to get together and have to make a plan to preserve the artifacts before proceeding construction.

Second, the author posits that financial support was very little for archaeological research. On the other hand, the speaker says that construction company has to pay for the initial work, not by the government and, then all work have to do under preservation plane. The archaeological studies are done more than before did.

Third, the reading states that career was difficult in archaeology. However, the lecturer says that new guidelines allowed them for paying job that was not before. Now expert archaeologists are hired. The archaeologist gets an opportunity for work in Britain that is the highest far.
