TPO-19 - Integrated Writing Task Many consumers ignore commercial advertisements. In response, advertising companies have started using a new tactic, called “buzzing." The advertisers hire people, buzzers, who personally promote (buzz) products to people

The article states that the buzzing- people who are hired by companies to promote products individual- has generated a lot of controversy in society and should be banned. The author provides three reasons of support. However, in the listening material a buzzer explains that the description in the reading is misleading, and refutes each of the author's reasons.

First, the reading stands that the buzzers do not reveal that they are being paid by the advertising companies. In contrast, the buzzer says that if the buzzers don’t tell people the trust how they trust the buzzers to take the product. Moreover, companies find and hire costumers who believe that the product is good. According to him, buzzing is different from an ordinary advertising in which an actress reads some lies. The buzzer shares his or her personal experiences of using the product with costumers.

Second, the article claims that the costumers would be more pessimist about a product when they encounter with advertising on television or on paper. The buzzing, on the other hand, mislead them while they are not be aware that the buzzers are being paid to advertise the product. Nevertheless, the buzzer explains that people know that the buzzer can answer a lot of their questions such as the product's price, services and how long he uses the product or service. The costumers will not buy the product should the buzzer cannot answer their questions.

Third, the reading posits that the buzzing would be harmful for social relation as well as for civilization. In contrast, the buzzer opposes this point by saying that if the company believe that a product is not good, the company will not recruit buzzers. In other words, people who try the buzzed products, they will find the buzzers people who are they can trust.
