Both reading and listening are talking about genetic modification. In the reading, the author talks about the benefits of genetic modification tree which it is possible to create trees that produce more fruitm grow faster, or resistent negative conditions. On the other hand, the lecture refute the benefits of genetic modification tree through presenting their evidence.
First of all, the reading passage claims that the genetically modified tree are created to be harder than nature trees and in this way trees can more survive with genetic modification. Conversely, the lecture brings up the ideas that genetic modification tree resistent condition is not sure to survive. Moreover, genetic diversification conduct in climate which less some tree nature and in this enviroment can survive but genetic modification is much more unifrom and it is environmentally challengable and eventually genetic modified tree wipe out.
Second of all, the reading passage illustrates this fact that genetically modified trees ensure it can have number of benefit in the economic. In contrast, the professor explains the fact that the genetic modification trees hidden the cost and companies farmer much more loose their money. In addition, farmer collect seeds must more pay money in order to grow thier plant.
Finally, the reading argues that another benefits of genetic modification trees can prohibit form over making use of wild trees. While, the lecture reveal this fact that genetically modified trees can create more damage for wild trees and it aggressively grows more plant. Therefore, genetic modified trees cannot compete with other resource such as soil natural, water, and so on. It eventually cut out trees.
