TPO-40 - Integrated Writing Task Many scientists believe it would be possible to maintain a permanent human presence on Mars or the Moon. On the other hand, conditions on Venus are so extreme and inhospitable that maintaining a human presence there would

The article and the lecture both discuss the three possible risks come with the possibility of butting a human permanently on the Venus. The author claims the dangers associated with this idea, while the speaker gives an alternative design to overcome these three possible risks and instead of using a human, we can utilize a balloon over the Venus.

First, the author point out the pressure on the Venus is extremely high, and no one can stand. The professor casts douth at this point by explaining that the flooding ballon over the Venus surface is less pressure than on the ground of the plant because it would be at 15 kilometers above so the pressure is normal and the crush cannot happen.

Second, the author argues the diminished quantity of the water on the plant; The professor avers that by telling that the availability of CO2 and Sulfer solves this obstacle. So, we use these elements to produce water, and we do not need to imported water from the Earth.

Third, the reader stats that thick clouds arrest sunlight, and the human cannot survive on the plant without the sunlight. Another thing we have to but in our consideration is the amount of the light that comes back from the plant. The speaker says that the balloon is above the thick cloud, so the cell works by using the light from the sun also the one that reflected from the plant to generate the station.
