TPO-45 - Integrated Writing Task Any student of paleontology will be struck by the fact that a great many animals of the past were considerably larger than they are today. This holds true for species ranging from dinosaurs to most mammals. Just why they w

In view of the reading, there are many old fossil structures which are skeptical about their creators and the author enumerates that bees could be their creatures by pointing out 3 reasons of support. Finding the statements arguable, the lecturer casts doubt on the claim made by the article and presents some evidence in contrary.

At first, the author argues that there is no chance for bees to were the creatures since there is no evidence of their fossil related to 200 million years ago. Conversely, the lecturer brings up the idea that although there is no piece of evidence, it could be related to lack of trees to preserve this fossil as they were so scarce.

In addition, the reading passage holds the view that it should be many flowers in the area which the fossil bees were there, but there is not. considering the mutually dependent biological relationship of the bees with flowers, we can conclude there were no bees. On the other hand, the lecturer disputes this by clarifying the fact that the bees also can live on unflowering plant like pine trees, so it could be conceivable that there were such these plants.

Finally, the author asserts he bereft of caps in the fossil structure as the last point for supporting the idea that they were made by other animals like beetles since the bees usually create the caps on their nests. The lecturer, though, dismisses it by pointing the fact that there is chemical evidence for waterproof characterization which is the same as the material that has been produced by modern bees, so it is possible to consider this structure as a thing which created by the bees.
