The reading states that the population of frogs are in danger of going extinct and many of them were extinct because of three main reasons.

First, the author calims that as the pesticides are the main reason declining the population of frogs, it must impose a ban on using such materials by farmers. However, the professor denies this reason, points out that imposing ban of usings chemical pesticides are not economically parcatical or fair for local farmers. Not using these chemiclals will leads to graet loss in their products and economically damages them. Besides, since in other reigion farmers are not required to not using these materials it is unfair to prevent these farmers.

Second, the passage alleges that the second major factor leading to the decreasement of frog's population is an infection caused by fungus. It argues that using antidungal medication can be implied to solve the problem. In sharp contrast, the lecturer opposed this reason, professes that using this method is difficult since it calls for captive each frog and imply these method for all of them. consiring their population using these method is not practical. In addition, using these treatment to tackle infection will not pass to the frog's offsprings. Tus it should be implied for each of the frog through captiving them after get breeding.
