Reading and lecture discusses about advantages and disadvantages to audience when university professor participate in television programs. Reading states that professors can be very famous if they role TV program. While, lecturer thinks TV programs can jeopardize professors' status.

First, reading mention that TV program can provide academic knowledge to large number of spectators. He mention that
it can offer stupendous outcomes to general public. This statement is rebutted by lecturer. Lecturer states that professor may tend to entertain people, because not everyone have profound academic knowledge. Furthermore, she points out that professor may not have enough money for research and present something interesting.

Secondly, reading suggest that it can provide benefits to university if professor involve in TV programs; such as it can enhance university's demand and can attract more new students and can aid in earning exorbitant money. On the contrary, lecture cast doubt on this type or marketing. She points out that professors will certainly waste time, for travelling to distant places, preparing, getting dressed. She suggests that professors can be productive in teaching students and to attain university business meeting.

Finally, reading states that TV is basic mode of communication between thousand of people and professor,
they can get opportunity to learn to observers who do not have chance to interact directly by any other means.
However, lecture did not agree with this way of learning. She claims that professors are erudite,
if they are providing intellectual academic lecture viewers are not going to pay much attention. Rather, they may end up
presenting superficial subjects about history and current events happening around the earth to entertain viewers. As a result, lecture successfully cast doubt against points made in reading.
