While the reading passage states that, ethanol does not have to replace with gasolin, the professor in the lecture disagrees with the reading, and he further explains his opinion because of following reasons.

First, the reading passage claims that, if the use of ethanol increase, carbon dioxide will be increased, and global warmin. In contrast, the professor in the lecture rejects this point that made in the reading, and he says that, with procecc of growing corns to use ethanol, more carbon dioxide will removed from atmosphier by growing corns.

Second, the reading passage shows that, the production of ethanol causes the available of plants for uses other fuel will reduced. In one spot, the professor in the lecture talks that, it do not have to produc, and with grow corn, more animals can be feed.

Third, in the reading passagea author follows that, ethanol never be able to rival with gasoline on price because the tax of ethanol will over $11 billion. On the other hand, the professor in the lecture illustrates that, in the future ethanol will be able to competition with gasoline. In addition, the cost of ethanol will become cheaper than gasoline because with more produce, the cost will drop and go down. Besides, the drop of ethanol will become %40.
