The lecture and the reading are both about agnostics living theories. The professor says that the theories discussed in the reading are weak but the reading supports these theories.
Firstly, the issue of free-swimming predators. The teacher says that the agnostics are not predators because predators should chase prey but agnostics did not have eyes to do that. These creatures are blind. Also, these living organisms do not have special organs to help them to chase the pray. On the other hand, the reading insists that agnostics are predators.
Secondly, the trouble of the seafloor dwellers, The lecturer mentions that the seafloor creatures could not move fast. They are moving slowly for short distance while agnostics move fast and for a large distance. this character is unusual for seafloor dwellers. However, reading opposes this idea.
Finally, the problem of the parasites. The professor mentions that the parasites live in a small population because they are in control of prey and kill it with a short time.
