Regarding crops industry, in 1996, 46% of people worked in this sector. One year later the percentage of people working in this sector increased to 48%, however, there was a decline in the total employment rate from1996 to 1999 by 10 %. Conversely, the overall employment index of factory workers in 1996 was 30%, a year later this figure rose to 41%, reaching 59% at the end of the twentieth century.
As for the proportion of people who worked in the clothing industry, 24% of people chose this sector to work. Nevertheless, the share of people working in this industry has decreased from 21% to a negligible 3% in four years.
