Environmental problems are too great to be managed by individuals so real change can only be achieved at government level. To what extent do you agree or disagree to this point? Support your point of view with reasons and/or examples from your own experi

The environmental problems like global warming, air pollution, waste disposal, acid rain and urban sprawl are the critical issues in the global world. Every human, animal and nation on this planet are greatly affected by the environments. For making eco-friendly planet we need to take action to minimize environmental problems. It seems that it is arduous task to minimize surrounding predicaments by individuals, while ultimate adjustments can be done by governments. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.

The notable reason is that, a regulation can be easy to impose for any government rather than any individuals. Besides, Ruling parties can play a great role to minimize the ambience difficulties. For example, The Bangladesh government has conducted a large project “Use Jute bag instead of Plastic bag” and spent millions of dollar that an individual’s cannot spend. Furthermore, Jute bags are 100% bio-degradable and ecofriendly whereas polythene is not bio-degradable. Because of the above points, it is taken into consideration that government level achievement for the problems is the right solution.

Secondly, the government need to take a comprehensive program addressing the sustainable use of raw materials. The program includes, for example, efficiency advice for small and medium sized enterprises, supporting environmental management systems, integrating resource aspects into technical standardization processes, strengthening voluntary product labelling and certification systems. This programs are very tough to run by individuals and it is not only expensive but also time consuming.

In conclusion, I profoundly believe that environmental issues are largely controlled by governments.
