Essay topics:

Medical technology is responsible for the human’s life expectancy. Discuss it.

There is no denying that due to a drastic change in medical science, the life expectancy of people keeps on increasing. Some people are considering this as the greatest achievement of society while some people do not consider this as a positive development. In this essay, I am going to provide you necessary evidence before reaching conclusion.
As the previous data suggest that average age of death has been increased from 46.7 in 1990 to 59.3 in 2016. Though the trend is encouraging as now our near and dear ones live longer. The data shows that humans are making right health-related decisions and this achievement can be attributed to improvement in public health and medical care. With the improvement in life expectancy, now old people are living more and more so due to that there is an increase in financial burden on families like regular health checkups and daily observation at the medical center. It’s good that one can stay for long years with his or her family and enjoy happy moments but financial burden can cause conflict within the family.
In addition, living long life means a less working force for the country in terms of less prosperity and growth. We are living in a country where resources are very less and non-renewable. Further, it causes in increasing the population of the world. The population creates so many problems like poverty in people, the lake of basic facilities and so many other problems. So instead of advantages, it becomes a great disadvantage for future life.
To sum with the above, one can conclude that an increase in average life expectancy rate can put the burden on environment and society but it can be dealt jointly by individuals and society.
