People emphasizing government to build an advanced transport system rather new road for vehicles that are overcrowding the cities. Do you agree or disagree?
it is irrefutable to say that, transport system is the true picture of a develped country and it shows how advance a country is. Some people believe that government should focus more on building better transport system with latest technology, while others opine that developing the new roads is the most important. I am inclined towards building advanced transport system.
Firstly, increasing number of vehicles on roads are causing pollution, which further leads to add value in global warming. In addition, increased number of cars, trucks, and vans on roads is also one of the reason for road accidents which takes hunderd of lives every year. For example, the number of road accidents in Singapore are less than Australia. Instead of focusing on building roads, government should focus on transport system.
Furthermore, a good transport system will not only be a cheaper than owning a car but it will help to keep the environment clear. government should provide the good transport system for commute to its citizen becuase this is the only way a government can reduce the number of other transports owned by the people. For example, if a local transport of city will be fast, punctual and cheap than people will not buy cars.
To recapitulalte the foregoing discussion, developing advanced transport system is important than roads for vehicles. In my opinion government should focus more on local transport than building roads for vehicles.
