There are two kinds of people with different lifestyles. One is always to go places hurriedly and to have things done and the other is to take time and live at a slower speed. If I have to choose one, I would select the slow lifestyle. Now I would like to explain why I prefer the latter as follow.
First, living slow gives us less stress and burden from tight schedule. Also if we take enough time, we can enjoy every details which we can ignore in a hurried case and we can also get the unexpected results. For example, whenever we went a family trip to Osaka Japan, we did not make any tight schedule to see. We just looked around shops in the streets and used to have meals in old restaurants which is not in the guide book. We could feel a real Japanese style there. Already several years passed, but my wife and daughters still miss the time we enjoyed together at a slower pace.
Second, we can make mistakes easily in a hurried situation. When we work with limited time, we cannot double-check every details, so it cause some problems often. Even though we finish work faster, if there is a mistake, it is not efficient as a result. For instance, when I go to work hurriedly in the morning, I often forget to bring important things such as a car key or a face mask and so on. After realizing the missing one, I have to return home to bring back. As a total, my commuting time in a hurry is almost similar to the case when I prepare at a slower speed.
To sum up, taking time to do at slow speed make people comfortable to enjoy their time and also people can check more carefully every details with enough time. This style looks slow, but can have better result at the end. In this regard, I prefer living life at a slower pace to living at a faster pace.
