Happiness is considered very important in life.Why is it difficult to define?What factors are important in achieving happiness?

Contentment is an ultimate desire for each individual. Even though it is not easy to give proper definition to the feeling of happiness, having a few factors enable the people to enjoy this supreme emotion.

To embark on, happiness is difficult to define due to its subjective nature. It differs from person to person. For example, a poor person may get happy if the basic needs of food, shelter and clothing are provided to him, while these things would not make any impact on a wealthy person's life. Similarly, a sick person always search to regain his health which may not be a concern for a healthy person. Furthermore, feeling of happiness is of short span. Individuals demands changes according to their achievements so that their demands would never end. To be clearer, people may not feel the same enjoyment on the thing after the initial days.Thus it goes without saying that giving proper definition because of its depending nature on personal attitudes.

Moving on to the elements required to acquire joyfulness, the most important factor is good health and lifestyle. Undoubtedly people could enjoy a happy moment if they are healthy. Secondly, wealth is also essential because it helps the individual to fulfill their basic needs and to keep them up-to-date. Finally, good interpersonal relationships enhance the experience of happiness. To be clearer, people who have more social relationships seem to be happier than lonely individuals.

In conclusion, defining happiness precisely is difficult because it depends on many factors like personal desires and emotions. However, both health and wealth enable populace to achieve contentment and satisfaction to a great extent.
